Our Course Offerings
Basic Firefighting:
Basic Fire Awareness is a course designed to guarantee the knowledge and the skills to manage and extinguish a fire in the home of office environment. This course is required by the Labour department for all companies. This is your basic Fire Fighting in the workplace. Theory and Practical is done. The Modules that we cover are the following:
- Deal with Fires
- Identify type of Fire
- Select Firefighting equipment
- Monitor Fire
- Retreat and handover
- Report on record the status of Fire.
Basic Fire Fighting takes place over a 1 day period.
First Aid:
Feel confident at home and in the workplace, learn Basic First Aid which will teach you how to react in an emergency and how you can save a life. We cover Basic Life Support and First Aid Procedures required by the Department of Labour for the workplace. Includes the following Modules:
- Emergency Scene management
- Elementary Anatomy and Physiology
- Emergency Situations
- First Aid Procedures
- Treat common Injuries
- Theory & Practical done in all courses
First Aid Level 1 takes place over a 2 day period.
Occupational Health and Safety:
Study courses in Health and Safety OHS and keep your work environment safe! Learn how to put health and safety regulations in place. We offer the following Safety Training Courses. The Modules that we cover are the following:
- Safety Officer
- Hazard Identification and Risk assessment
- Incident Accident Investigation
- Mines, Health and Safety
- OSHAS 18001
- Safety File
- She Rep
More Safety courses are available, as well as the above, can be done at a venue of your choice.
